Some of our employee searches are handled by recruitment agencies, but most of them are managed directly by the Human Resources department. Either way, the same tips apply if you want to make a positive impression.
First, your CV or resumé should be short – ideally one page in length – and to the point. Stress the relevant experience you have and, in the covering email or letter, why you think you would be perfect for the position.
A short-list of candidates will then be invited for interview. This is our opportunity to get to know you, and your opportunity to ask us about the job and life at Takeda. Be honest, inquisitive and talkative, and we’ll do the same. Interviews are important in trying to decide if we’re a good match for each other.
If we decide to take things further, we’ll discuss things like salary, benefits, your notice period from your previous job, if any, and any other formalities that need to be completed before you start work. Then the next exciting chapter of your career can begin.
